25 Tea bags | NPN 80001092 | Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis; to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.

Recommended Dose:

Children 4 years: 1 tea bag per day;

Children 5 to 9 years: 2 tea bags per day;

Adolescents 10 to 14 years: 2 tea bags 2 times per day;

Adults and adolescents 14 years and over: 2 tea bags 3 times per day. Take after meals.

Add the tea bag(s) to one cup of cold water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. 

 

Medicinal Ingredient:

Each tea bag contains 1.5g dried root of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (Licorice).

 

Duration of use:

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 to 6 weeks.

 

Cautions/Warnings:

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; prior to use if you are pregnant; if you have a liver disorder. 

 

Contraindications:

Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder; if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. 

 

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal on bag is broken.
